Itinerary
Day 1 ~
Fly into Aéroport Blagnac-Toulouse, check into the hotel and prepare for a group welcome dinner at a local restaurant housed in a glorious monument of the Belle Époque era.
Day 2 ~
Enjoy petit dejeuner together at the hotel and then embark on a pleasant country drive to our home for the duration of the workshop ~ a fine country house with authentic character and warm ambience ~ where a delicious lunch will be waiting for us. Afterward you will have free time to settle in, get aquainted with your room and the grounds, or take a cat nap. Be prepared for a sumptuous dinner!
Days 3 through 6 ~
These four days are workshop days, begining with petit déjeuner, followed by embroidery instruction. There will be a lunch break, follwed by further instruction. Afterward you will have free time. There are charming places to sit and relax on the grounds, read a book, go for a stroll, or have a swim in the pool. Explore your inner French femme! We’ll close each day savoring a chef-made dinner. Midweek we’ll explore village antique shops where you might find a momento or two.
Day 7 ~
Journey to Albi for the Saturday flea market (another chance for momentos!) and enjoy a relaxing lunch on a café terrace near the 13th century Cathedral Sainte-Cécile. Then on to Toulouse to check into the hotel and prepare for our farewell dinner.
Day 8 ~
Depart for the airport following petit déjeuner.
